- "I'm interested in studying the emotions generated when the unknown is decontextualized, colors especially.
This project is inspired by architectural perspectives found in Barcelona. Chromatic scenes that emerge from the essence that brews with the colorful and multicultural vibrancy of the city streets"
Rainone reflects in her paintings her personal experience from introspection, capturing in them emotions. She uses a language that is constructivist and abstract, and in doing so, reinterprets the spirit of those moments and emotions.
She intends to invite the spectator towards other atmospheres, stimulating them to reflect about what is created and how we understand it.
Focused on giving life to the dialectics generated in the open spaces, where the sky can be seen. Empty spaces, invisible and undefined, where everything is possible and where the real and unreal come together is where Flavia finds fascination, in the ordinary, where no one looks at.
She suggests that if we know how to observe, "everything can be a museum in an open sky".
